This Privacy Policy describes how HabitWidget (the “App”) handles information when you use our iOS application. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
HabitWidget is designed to minimize data collection. Habit data is intended to remain on your device unless you enable optional Apple-provided sync features available to subscribers. The App does not require you to create an account for basic use.
To provide core functionality, the App may process data you enter or that is derived in the App, such as:
We do not use the App to knowingly collect special categories of sensitive personal data.
Your habit records are stored locally on your device. To show current progress on Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, summary data may be shared between the main App and the widget extension using an Apple App Group container. This stays on your device and is used only to support App and widget functionality.
If you are a Pro subscriber and enable iCloud-related sync in the App, habit state may be stored and synchronized using Apple’s iCloud (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore) in accordance with your Apple ID and iCloud settings. That processing is subject to Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. We do not operate our own servers for this sync.
If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. We do not need to receive the content of those notifications on external servers for basic operation.
Payments for HabitWidget Pro are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited subscription status information needed to unlock Pro features in the App.
The App, as described in this policy, is not intended to embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that collect personal data across apps. If we materially change this in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, seek appropriate consent.
The App is intended for general productivity use. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for targeted marketing.
Where Apple services (App Store, iCloud) process data, such processing may involve servers and operations in various countries as described in Apple’s documentation.
Data stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear App data through your device. You can manage iCloud data through your Apple ID settings. You can withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a new version. Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, in the App.
